US: "Obama should condemn Al-Awlaki fatwa", Mike Huckabee says

Some days ago it was reported that the US cartoonist, Molly Norris, who had began the “Draw Mohammad Cartoon Day” had to go into hiding thanks to a fatwa from Jihadist cleric Al-Awlaki. This is very interesting:

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Friday that President Barack Obama should denounce the fatwa issued by a Muslim-American cleric that has sent an American cartoonist into hiding. He also said that there is a double standard at work; that insults to Islam are treated differently than insults to Christianity.

I add: are they going to ask Awlaki to pay for the security bill this fatwa has made, like has happened with Fla. pastor Terry Jones, or that is only for Christians who, stupidly, want to burn the Qu’ran, not for histerical Jihadist preachers who want to kill a person?

Oh, well, they support them… if they weren’t so scared!!!

At least, they admit they are scared. Others would have spoken about “respect” for other beliefs… just after they have been threatened…

Today is Boobquake Day!

Just to prove the stupidity of Ayatollah Sedighi’s claims that “unmodest women” produce the earthquakes, a new initiative is born:

that point of view doesn’t sit well with Blag Hag blogger Jen McCreight.

The student from Indiana has launched a Facebook campaign against Mr Sedighi’s comments, asking women across the world to wear their most revealing outfits to test the cleric’s theories.
The campaign is called called Boobquake – and today is Boobquake Day.

“On Monday, April 26th I will wear the most cleavage-showing shirt I own… the one usually reserved for a night on the town,” says organiser Jennifer McCreight on the Facebook page.
“I encourage other female sceptics to join me and embrace the supposed supernatural power of their breasts.

“With the power of our scandalous bodies combined, we should surely produce an earthquake.”

  A very good idea!!!

UK: London breeding Islamic terrorists

Speaking about Abdulmutallab’s failed terrorist attack:

British security agency MI5 revealed that Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab had “multiple communications” with Islamic extremists in London, that the Nigerian reached out from London to a worldwide network of jihadi contacts and that he was “on the periphery of a past incident.”

Why was this 3-year-old information apparently not shared with U.S. authorities until more than a week after the near-fatal flight?

Probably the reason is that UK security agencies are overwhelmed by the dimensions of the terrorist threat in Britain. Two years ago, MI5’s director revealed that there were 4,000 people known to be “involved in terrorist-related activity in the UK” in more than 200 terrorist networks. A year later, authorities said the threat was growing “increasingly complex” and the numbers “even higher.”

Since the mid-90s, London has been a haven for foreign jihadi preachers, organizers, agitators and propagandists, many of them recipients of generous welfare benefits.

“Londonistan” attracted second-generation British Muslims who spurned the folk Islam and customs of their immigrant parents but were repelled by a British culture they regarded as decadent and racist.

… Anwar al-Awlaki, who inspired the Fort Hood massacre and conspired with AbdulMutallab in Yemen, reportedly has also inspired several terrorist cells in Britain. He is heard on British-based Web sites and via video links at conferences hosted by university Islamic Societies such as the one AbdulMutallab led at University College London.

The Nigerian is the fourth president of a London Islamic Society to face terrorist charges in three years. One of them is awaiting retrial, having escaped conviction for involvement in the 2006 liquid bomb plot to blow up airliners bound for the U.S., a precursor to the Christmas plot.

There are comical aspects of the failed plot. And I am not referring to people claiming that Abdulmutallab was paid by a Republican Obama-hater conspiracy (yes, one Mike Malloy has actually said that). No, I’m referring to the underpants of Pantybomber after the failed plot. His genital area must be truly damaged: Continue reading

Terrorism: Somali threats against Swedish illustrator

After the attack on Westergaard, the threats continue:

Swedish artist Lars Vilks, who sparked outrage with caricatures of the Muslim prophet Muhammad as a dog, has received threats via telephone from Somalia.Police in Helsingborg in southern Sweden are taking seriously the threats made against Vilks, which come just three days after Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard was subjected to an axe attack at his home in Denmark.

The first of two phone calls to Vilks came on Monday morning. A subsequent check by the Swedish artist revealed that the call originated in Somalia, where the Islamic militant group al-Shabaab has gained increasing influence in the war torn country.

Al-Shabaab is also believed to have ties to al-Qaeda.

In the last month, al-Shabaab supporters who reportedly used to live in Denmark have killed at least 22 people, including three ministers, in a suicide bomb attack carried out in the Somali capital of Mogadishu.

Spain: Mr Bean sneaks into Spanish EU presidency website

Hackers broke web security and Mr Bean appeared on the official webpage

Hackers broke web security and Mr Bean appeared on the official webpage

The British comic movie character Mr Bean on Monday “visited” the official website of the Spanish European Union presidency, the daily El Mundo reported on its website. Hackers managed to break through the security of the website which briefly displayed an image of a surprised-looking Mr Bean saying “Hi there,” the daily said.Mr Bean is played by comedian Rowan Atkinson.

The Spanish government has spent nearly 12 million euros (17 million dollars) on technical assistance and security for the EU presidency website, according to El Mundo.

You know, this is part of the “demanding” austerity plan Zapatero announced several days ago. In the middle of a crisis that has caused more than 4 million unemployed and a tax rise. Truly demanding… 😡

This is one of the bast jokes one could do to this page. In fact, Mr Zapatero has been compared with Mr. Bean usually:

US: Yale Press Bans Images of Muhammad in New Book

Cartoons of Mohammed. Jyllands-Posten

Muhammad in Hell - Dante's Inferno

Muhammad in Hell - Dante's Inferno

Yale University and Yale University Press consulted two dozen authorities, including diplomats and experts on Islam and counterterrorism, and the recommendation was unanimous: The book,“The Cartoons That Shook the World,” should not include the 12 Danish drawings that originally appeared in September 2005. What’s more, they suggested that the Yale press also refrain from publishing any other illustrations of the prophet that were to be included, specifically, a drawing for a children’s book; an Ottoman print; and a sketch by the 19th-century artist Gustave Doré of Muhammad being tormented in Hell, an episode from Dante’s “Inferno” that has been depicted by Botticelli, Blake, Rodin and Dalí.

Jytte Klausen, the author of the book

Jytte Klausen, the author of the book

The book’s author, Jytte Klausen, a Danish-born professor of politics at Brandeis University, in Waltham, Mass., reluctantly accepted Yale University Press’s decision not to publish the cartoons. But she was disturbed by the withdrawal of the other representations of Muhammad. All of those images are widely available, Ms. Klausen said by telephone, adding that “Muslim friends, leaders and activists thought that the incident was misunderstood, so the cartoons needed to be reprinted so we could have a discussion about it.”

Misunderstood? Really? No, it was used by the Muslim world to pass a non-binding UN resolution on defamation of religions. And to ask for a binding one.

Zapatero's error before Medvedev

Zapatero was at the press conference with Medvedev during the latter’s official visit to Spain. He was asked about about the relationship between Spain and Russia, specially regarding tourism. He said that this agreement was necessary because of the number of Spanish tourists who go to Russia, this year 500.000. And that the agreement was to “encourage, to asist, to fuck… ehh, to support that tourism“.

via El lapsus de Zapatero: “Un acuerdo para estimular, para favorecer, ‘para follar’…” – 20minutos.es.

I wonder what was he thinking about … :P

They have also agreed that Spain should have a better access to Russian energy. In exchange of what? Because nothing specific is said about it… :(

Saudi Arabia: The prophet saw the future about oil

Saudi imam has issued a fatwa or religious edict, banning the use of alcohol as a fuel substitute for petrol. “I warn Saudi students that live abroad not to use alcohol as a cheap substitute for petrol, because the prophet has cursed not only who drinks it but also those who use it for other purposes,” said the Saudi imam Mohammed al-Najimi, quoted by Saudi daily, Shams.

via Saudi Arabia: Imam forbids alcohol to be used as fuel substitute – Adnkronos Religion.

Any consideration about Saudi Arabia being one of the leading exporters of oil but inappropriate for cultivating grapes would not be well received, wouldn’t it? And Khomeini said there was no fun in Islam… well, this is truly funny. ;)

UK: 9 detained on terrorism charges while travelling in a pro-Gaza aid convoy

And linked to George Galloway, that leading anti-war campaigner, too:

Three men arrested by counter-terrorism police on a motorway were allegedly planning to leave Britain as part of a £1million aid convoy to Gaza, which was organised by former Labour MP George Galloway.

Security sources say the men aged 26, 29 and 36 from Burnley, Lancashire, had been under surveillance for two months in an operation connected to a potential threat of terrorism in the Middle East.

Nine men were arrested initially on Friday night as they drove west in two vans on the M65 near Preston. Six were later released without charge.

One of the two vans surrounded by police vehicles bore an image of the Palestinian flag on its side. The other had signs saying Stop Killing Children, Free Palestine and From Blackburn (UK) to Gaza.

via Three terror suspects arrested – Linked to George Galloway £1million aid convoy.

This is by no means something strange. In the demonstrations against Operation Cast Lead, you can see him just behind this “leading cleric” who shouts “Today we are all Hamas” y “Allahu Akbar”, among other interesting things.

We have to remember his dancing moment too:

:P :D

And by all means this link to see why he was anti-war… How shameful… :@

Saint Valentine

I have read a lot of critics towards San Valentine’s Day but nothing so comical as being considered as an insufferable virus that “the more Muslim celebrate its Day, the More the Jews and Christians Are Happy, and the More the Prophet Muhammad is Sad“.

via Muslim cleric Warns Muslim Youth Against Valentine’s Day – Says its ‘More Dangerous than AIDS, Ebola, and Cholera’ :: Understanding Islam :: Hyscience.

But don’t worry, Islamists have already found the cure, apart from not celebrating it, of course… :P
