Al-Qaradawi: “Muslims should acquire nuclear weapons to terrorize their enemies”

Wow, how peaceful! I’m sure that afterwards, he supports denuclearization of Western countries…😯

During the past month, Imam Yusuf al-Qaradawi, spiritual guide to the Muslim Brotherhood, has called on Muslims to acquire nuclear weapons “to terrorize their enemies.” He also boycotted an interfaith meeting with Jews on grounds he believes they support murdering Muslims in Palestine, and he additionally said Muslims are permitted to kill Israeli women because they serve in the army.

This continues Qaradawi’s long-established support of violent jihad. But despite this record, he has been embraced as a “moderate” Muslim by his defenders in the West and the Arab world. In a September interview, former London Mayor Ken Livingstone said “the fact that Sheikh Qaradawi has been banned [from Britain] is a disgrace; he is one of the leading progressive voices in the Muslim world.” Livingstone blamed “a huge smear campaign organized by Zionists.” (This guy has taken some delusional pills, hasn’t he?).

In America, John Esposito, a religious scholar who is close to the Brotherhood, has called Qaradawi a supporter of a “reformist interpretation of Islam and its relationship to democracy, pluralism and human rights.” The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and prominent Islamists like Tariq Ramadan, grandson of Muslim Brotherhood founder Hasan al-Banna, have expressed similar sentiments about Qaradawi.

Qaradawi replied that this goal would be permissible, saying he was “happy” to learn that Pakistan had such a nuclear weapon to defend itself. Qaradawi explained that that was the meaning of Koranic verses urging Muslims “to terrorize thereby the enemy of God and your enemy.”

Support for Iran and Muslim rights to possess nuclear technology have been recurring themes for Qaradawi.

It is obligatory on all Muslims to resist any possible attack the US might launch against Iran,” Qaradawi said in a 2007 interview. “The U.S. is an enemy of Islam that has already declared war on Islam under the disguise of war on terrorism and provides Israel with unlimited support.”

via Some Moderate! Imam, Friend of Professors and Hollywood, Wants Nukes for Muslims ‘To Terrorize Their Enemies’.

So this guy considers me his enemy and yet he is the moderate and I’m the Islamophobe.

😯 The worst of all is that the guys is serious. He is not Achmed, the dead terrorist.

The below article confirms the Muslim brotherhood have not abandoned their violent ways in any shape or form.
The Spiritual Leader of the MB has in fact taken matters to a dangerous new level, by calling on Muslims to attain Nuclear weapons.
Every normal individual needs to be very concerned as PAKISTAN a radical islamic state already has a nuclear arsenal of approximately 60 nuclear warheads.
This call will no doubt gain the attention of radicals all over the world, who will have no hesitation in obliging the call. My concern is are the west going to wait until islamists do strike, or are they going to make a pre-emptive strike to head off a massacre of the innocent?
Such a call is extremely alarming and can NOT e dismissed as a hollow threat. Islamists have no boundaries and will gladly perpetrate such an act.

Barrie Osborne, producer of Hollywood blockbusters like The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix, has hired Qaradawi as a consultant for a movie about the Prophet Mohammed. Last month, Qaradawi was given a medal for public service by King Abdullah of Jordan.

Qaradawi has won these awards despite a long record of anti-Semitism and advocating violence against purported enemies of islam. Consider the following examples:
In an interview last month with Al-Jazeera’s Arabic-language service, Qaradawi was asked if Muslims should try to get atomic weapons “to terrorize their enemies.” Qaradawi replied that this goal would be permissible, saying he was “happy” to learn that Pakistan had such a nuclear weapon to defend itself. Qaradawi explained that that was the meaning of Koranic verses urging Muslims “to terrorize thereby the enemy of God and your enemy.”
Support for Iran and Muslim rights to possess nuclear technology have been recurring themes for Qaradawi.
“It is obligatory on all Muslims to resist any possible attack the US might launch against Iran,” Qaradawi said in a 2007 interview. “The U.S. is an enemy of Islam that has already declared war on Islam under the disguise of war on terrorism and provides Israel with unlimited support.”
It was wrong to deny Iran the right to ostensibly peaceful nuclear technology so long as the United States and Israel had nuclear weapons, he said.
Last month, Qaradawi boycotted the 8th Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue conference in Qatar, saying he opposes discourse with Jews on principle.
“How can we conduct a dialogue in a time when they seize lands, shed blood, burn farms, and demolish houses? Palestine’s conundrum has to be resolved first before we sit together at the same table,” he said.
A source close to Qaradawi told the Egyptian newspaper al-Masry al-Youm that the imam does not oppose talking to Jews because of their religious affiliation, noting that he has met with representatives of the anti-Zionist Neturai Karta, an organization seen here attending a Holocaust-denial conference staged by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The Neturai Karta are Jews who reject the principles of Zionism and the occupation of Muslim lands, although “the majority of Jews at present are with the actions of murder in Palestine,” the source said in explaining Qaradawi’s willingness to talk to the group.
In a recorded address last month to a Hamas-organized parley in Gaza, Qaradawi said Palestinians must continue violence against Israel.
“Arms must not be laid down; he who wants freedom must pay the price. Independence is not given as alms,” Qaradawi said. According to the Arabic-language newspaper al-Watan, Qaradawi stated: “We must irrigate [the] tree of freedom with our blood. We must not leave the Palestinians alone.” Every Muslim “must play his part to help our brothers in Palestine until they obtain their rights,” he said. “Not one inch of the Land of Islam must remain in the grasp of infidels and occupiers.”
In an interview with OnIslam.net last month, Qaradawi blamed “the Zionist media machine” for popular opposition to the location of the Ground Zero Mosque. Muslims in the U.S. and abroad also have voiced opposition to the plan.
Qaradawi’s website glorifies violence against Jews and against Palestinians deemed to be supporters of Israel. The front page links to a section entitled “Palestine under siege.” At the top of the section is an entry from May 2002 showing the body of a “Palestinian collaborator with Israel” being dragged through the streets of Hebron. It consists of Koranic verses denouncing Muslims who work with “evil Jews” to betray Hamas and other “citizen resistance fighters.”
In a September speech reported by the Arabic-language website moheet.com, Qaradawi called jihad an Islamic moral duty and said Muslims are permitted to kill Israeli women because they serve in the army. He said the Prophet Mohammad’s prohibition on killing the innocent did not apply to Israel because it is an invader and aggressor society which only knows how to violate the rights of others.
In a February interview with BBC Arabic, Qaradawi affirmed his support for suicide bombings. “I supported martyrdom operations,” he said, according to a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) . “This is a necessary thing, as I told them in London. Give the Palestinians tanks, airplanes, and missiles, and they won’t carry out martyrdom operations. They are forced to turn themselves into human bombs, in order to defend their land, their honor, and their homeland.”
According to excerpts of a speech that aired on Al-Jazeera in January 2009, Qaradawi called on Muslims to put Jews in “their place” as Hitler had done, in revenge for Israeli military operations in Gaza several weeks earlier. “Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the [Jews] people who would punish them for their corruption,” he said. “The last punishment was carried out by Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them – even though they exaggerated this issue – he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them. Allah willing, the next time will be at the hands of the believers.”
At a January 2009 “Gaza Victory Rally” in Doha, Qatar, Qaradawi prayed for the opportunity to kill a Jew before his death. “The only thing that I hope for is that as my life approaches its end, Allah will give me an opportunity to go to the land of Jihad and resistance, even if in a wheelchair. I will shoot Allah’s enemies, the Jews, and they will throw a bomb at me, and thus, I will seal my life with martyrdom. Praise be to Allah.”
In a January 2009 sermon broadcast on Al-Jazeera television, Qaradawi said Allah “will not allow these people [Jews] to continue to spread corruption in the land. We wait for the revenge of Allah to descend upon them, and Allah willing, it will be by our own hands: ‘Fight them, Allah will torment them by your hands, and bring them to disgrace, and will assist you against them, and will heal the hearts of the believers, and you will still the anger of your hearts.’ This is my message to the treacherous Jews.” He went to urge Allah not to “spare a single one of them. Oh Allah, count their numbers, and kill them, down to the very last one.”
Qaradawi may hold more tolerant views on other issues. But when it comes to terrorism and anti-Semitism, his words and the consistency with which he offers them, speak for themselves.

    MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD – HITLER – AL-QUAIDA
“Al-Qa’ida is the product of an Arab fascist group that was set up in the 1920s, funded by Adolf Hitler…..” (From a speech by John Loftus (former US Justice Department prosecutor) to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day, (Yom Ha’Shoah), April 18, 2004 First published in Jewish Community News, August 2004)

Muslim Brotherhood Al Qaida Terrorists Nazi Connection

War Crimes Investigator Says Al Qaida Spawned From the Nazi Third Reich.
“Al Qaida is the direct lineal descendant of the Arab Nazis of the Muslim Brotherhood,
A former war crimes investigator explained how the terrorist network al Qaida spawned from Nazi and Islamic extremist movements following WWII.
John Loftus, who regularly appears on Fox News and ABC Radio addressed the theme of “the roots of prejudice and hatred in the world.” He began by explaining that he didn’t set out to become a Nazi hunter. Early in his law career he took a volunteer attorney job created by the Carter administration to hunt Nazis “because I thought it would look good on my resume.”
To his surprise, rather than travelling to Germany to investigate he was sent to the U.S. Government’s massive underground vaults protecting classified information. Loftus claims he was given complete access to the 20 acre-sized vaults, where he says he found some disturbing information.
“I stumbled across some Nazi files I wasn’t supposed to see. No one was supposed to see them until the year 2015. The British Secret Service convinced American intelligence that the Nazis would be indispensable as “freedom fighters” in preparing for the next major war, which was anticipated against the Soviet Union.

    THE ROOTS OF MODERN TERRORISM

During his time in the government’s underground vaults, Loftus said he read a file on an organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood. In the file was information about a man named Hasam al-Banna who founded the organization in 1920.
“Mr. al-Banna was a devout admirer of a young Austrian writer named Adolph Hitler. His letters to Hitler were so supportive that when Hitler came to power in the 1930s he had Nazi intelligence make contact with al-Banna to see if they could work together,” Loftus said.
Hitler had al-Banna establish a spy network for Nazi Germany throughout Arabia.
Al-Banna promised Hitler that when Gen. Rommel’s Nazi tank division arrived in Cairo and Alexandria, the Muslim Brotherhood would ensure all of the British troops would be killed.
“These men were Nazi agents, they were spies, who adopted the Third Reich’s policy towards the Jews,” Loftus said.
He spoke about another prominent member of the Muslim Brotherhood, a man known as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who was the organization’s representative in Palestine. The Grand Mufti brought with him a hatred of the Jews. He was a principal organizer of the 1920 “Bloody Passover” massacre of Jews who were praying at Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall.
Following a failed attempt to create a Nazi uprising in Iraq, the Grand Mufti fled to Europe to organize international Arab forces for the Third Reich disguised as SS divisions.
“In truth these forces were Arab fanatics, Arab Nazis from all across the Middle East,” Loftus said.
Though a certain war criminal, the Grand Mufti and his troops were spirited away from prosecution to Egypt by the British Secret Service.
“Kim Philby, the Soviet agent who infiltrated the British Secret Service, was also recruiting Arab Nazis to poison the West’s efforts in the Middle East forever,” Loftus said. “By using Arab Nazis, democracy would be discredited, America would be discredited, Britain would be discredited.”
Philby “helped” the United States acquire the Arab Nazis who were expelled from Egypt in the 1950s after the Egyptians recognized them as a threat
According to Loftus, the Arab Nazis of the Muslim Brotherhood were sent to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“To keep them employed they were given jobs as religious education instructors,” Loftus said.
While Islam is a very peaceful religion, Saudi Arabia practiced an extreme form of Islam called Wahhabi.
“Saudi Wahhabism is to Islam as the KKK is to Christianity,” Loftus said. “It’s an extreme and perverted form of religion that was condemned as a heresy by Islam more than 60 times before the 1900s.”
“Here is this corrupt cult and all of a sudden the school teachers are Nazis. Here a fusion is born between the two. Schools of hatred were built all over Saudi Arabia,” Loftus said.
A well known pupil of these schools is Osama bin Laden, Loftus said. Bin Laden and other graduates of the schools were inducted into an underground neo-Nazi Wahhabi army for Saudi Arabia.
Just as Russia was using Communist Arabs during the cold war, we would use Arab Nazis as a counterweight to oppose them,” Loftus said. “When the Soviets invaded Afghanistan in 1979 the Arab (neo) Nazis were let out of the closet.
“Because of the combination of Wahhabi fanaticism and Nazi ideology, waves of people came pouring into Afghanistan to kill the Communists,” Loftus said. The Soviets were defeated and the United States left. And, according to Loftus, Osama bin Laden took control and his entire army of neo-Nazi theological cultists were left there alive in the field.
Bin Laden drew up a list of those who he knew he could rely on and called this list ‘the base.’ Loftus said the Arabic translation of ‘the base’ is ‘al Qaida.’
“Al Qaida is the direct lineal descendant of the Arab Nazis of the Muslim Brotherhood,” he said. “We let the Muslim Brotherhood, now known as Al Qaida, to roam free upon the world. Many, human beings have paid for that mistake.

THE NUCLEAR PLOT, WMDS AND WHAT’S NEXT

In the summer of 2002, Loftus said, the British intercepted a message which revealed a nuclear weapons plot between N. Korea, Libya and Iraq. Iraqi nuclear scientists were working in Libya using enriched uranium supplied by North Korea, according to Loftus.
“Saddam new he couldn’t have a nuclear program in his country because U.N. inspectors were all over,” Loftus said.
When the United States confronted Libya with the evidence, Mommar Khadafi agreed to cooperate.
According to Loftus, Khadafi said there is a Chinese component as well. Not the official government of China, but the radical right wing People’s Liberation Army. This group supplied Libya with detailed instructions on how to build an atomic warhead.
Loftus said had the plot not been discovered, the project would have produced an atomic warhead within 18 months.
According to Loftus, Iran is the only country remaining that is attempting to develop nuclear weapons. When the International Association of Atomic Energy meets again, Loftus expects the member nations, including the European nations who opposed war in Iraq, to vote to impose sanctions against Iran.
“We think the blockade will go into effect very quickly. Iran is the last country that is actively financing terrorist groups. It is one of the few places where sanctions will work because 90 percent of its economy comes from oil exports,” Loftus said.
In the al Qaida plot to unleash a cloud of deadly chemicals in Amman, Jordan’s capital, that was foiled, Loftus said, the chemicals likely came from the hidden cache of WMDs created by Saddam.
According to Loftus, evidence gathered by U.S. special forces, Israeli intelligence, statements by defectors, and satellite imagery point to three locations in Syria and one location in Lebanon where the WMDs are expected to be hidden.
“U.S. intelligence believes they know where the WMDS are. The new Arab government of Iraq is going to ask for their property (the WMDs) back,” Loftus said. “If Syria and Lebanon don’t give the WMDs back, the new Iraqi government will ask us for help …and we will help.”
In an interview with The U.P. Catholic, Loftus said, “The evidence looks pretty strong. Is it a 100 percent sure? No. But there is a high degree of probability” that the weapons are there.
He said this information has not been reported in the American media because the government will not confirm any of the information. However, he said, the story has been circulating through the European press.
“We are at the tipping point in the scale. I think we are going to win. In the next 12 months we may see a number of other nations surrender without firing a shot. If half of what my intelligence sources tell me is accurate, we are in for a very good year,” he said.

In summary, Loftus said he has spent his career trying to help make a difference. He says the United States is now paying the price for negligence of leaders who looked the other way for inexpensive Arab oil over the years.
Loftus’ appearance at St. Peter Cathedral was sponsored by the Marquette County Interfaith Forum.
Loftus decided to forego a promising future with the U.S. Justice Department. Instead he blew the whistle. “I think I still hold the record for the longest segment ever on 60 Minutes. In 1982 it caused a minor national uproar,” Loftus said. “Mike Wallace got the Emmy, and my family got death threats.”

    Banna and Hitler
Hassan al-Banna – Hassan al-Banna (Arabic: حسن البنا) was born October 14, 1906 and died February 12, 1949. Al Banna was a radical Islamist and founder of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood (Jamaat al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun).
Hassan al-Banna was born in Mahmudiyya, Egypt, north-west of Cairo. His father, Shaykh Ahmad al-Banna, was a well regarded and pious local Imam and mosque teacher of the Hanbali Madh’hab (school of Fiqh – jurisprudence). He was a scholar of Islam who wrote and collaborated on books on Muslim traditions, and he also had a shop where he repaired watches and sold record players. Shaykh Ahmad al Banna and his wife owned some property, but they were not wealthy.
By age thirteen, al-Banna was already involved in politics, and participated in demonstrations during the revolution of 1919 against British rule. Hassan al-Banna joined the Hasafiya Sufi order when he was 15, having become interested at age 12. He entered the State Teacher’s Training Center and graduated first in his class in 1923 at the age of 16.
Al-Banna moved to Cairo to enter the Dar al-Ulum college in 1923. Because of his father’s connections in the religious community, he met prominent Islamic scholars. He was also exposed to the breakdown of Islamic society in the city, and the trend to secularization, which shocked him. He was very concerned over the abandonment of Islam by younger people. He saw Islam as a religion besieged by the onslaught of Western culture, an onslaught that must be met by re-educating the young.
Al-Banna became an eager student of Islamic reformists, especially the Egyptian Muhammad ‘Abduh, and ‘Abduh’s disciple, the Syrian Rashid Rida. Al-Banna was a dedicated follower of Rida and reader of Al-Manar, Rida’s magazine.
Rida’s major concern, like that of Muhammad Abduh, was the decline of Islamic civilization relative to western countries. They both believed that this trend could be reversed only by returning to a “pure” form of Islam, free of all the exegesis and innovations that had diluted the strength of its original message. But while Abduh had wanted to use what he thought of as the original principles of Islam to forge reform and liberalism, Rida and especially Banna identified different original principles and had a different program entirely. Al-Banna believed that the main danger to Islam was not the conservatism of Al-Azhar and the Ulema. Though he criticized the conservatives, Al-Banna was more afraid of the ascendancy of the West and secularism. He wanted the conservatives to be more active in condemning atheism and Christian missionaries, and in combating colonialism.
Al Banna decided to dedicate himself to becoming “a counselor and a teacher” of adults and children, to teach them “the objectives of religion and the sources of their well-being and happiness in life”. He graduated from Dar al Ulum in 1927 and took a position as an Arabic language teacher in a state primary school in Isma’iliya, near the Suez Canal Zone.
In Isma’iliyya, in addition to his teaching duties, Al-Banna gave night classes to his pupils’ parents. He also preached in the mosque, and in coffee-houses. He placed himself at shrines where pious Muslims were likely to congregate, and put an eclectic face on his teachings, avoiding disagreement with traditions and local customs. For example, the worship of dead Muslim saints is considered shirk, that is polytheistic. Pious but ignorant people nonetheless made cults centers out of the grave sites of holy men, which in theory threatens tawhid – monotheism. Al-Banna appeared at these sites and did not criticize the practices. He used the gatherings to draw people into his movement and hold meetings explaining his views about Islam. He also downplayed his disagreements with the religious élite, who were not happy with his free introduction of Ijtihad – innovation in Islam. Al-Banna adopted semi-western dress rather than traditional robes, and a modest beard, to appeal to the widest Egyptian audience and look modern.
Al Banna was repelled by the British and other colonial presence in Ismailiya, including the military camps, ownership of utilities by foreign concessions and the luxury hotels that contrasted with the slum housing of Egyptian workers.
Al-Banna launched the Society of the Muslim Brotherhood in March of 1928. The brotherhood was extremist and violent from its inception. It’s motto is, “God is our purpose, the Prophet our leader, the Qur’an our constitution, Jihad our way and dying for God’s cause our supreme objective.”
Al-Banna was quite clear that his goal was not solely an anti-colonialist struggle in Egypt nor the refurbishment of Islam, but rather a world revolution that would establish Islam as the dominant religion of the entire world:
we will not stop at this point [i.e., “freeing Egypt from secularism and modernity”], but will pursue this evil force to its own lands, invade its Western heartland, and struggle to overcome it until all the world shouts by the name of the Prophet and the teachings of Islam spread throughout the world. Only then will Muslims achieve their fundamental goal… and all religion will be exclusively for Allah. (Habeck, Knowing the enemy p. 120)
The key themes of radical Islamism and Jihadism were reiterated in numerous quotes by Al Banna, including:
Central importance of violent Jihad – In traditional Islam, Jihad, which means “struggle” was divided into “Greater Jihad,” an inner struggle to achieve sanctity and religious truth and a “Lesser Jihad” – war against enemies of Islam or Jihad Musallah. Al-Banna reversed the priorities. He relegated inner spiritual struggle to Jihad al-asghar, the lesser Jihad, and elevated violent war against enemies of Islam to Jihad al akbar, the great Jihad. His stance on this point is explicit. Al-Banna wrote:
Many Muslims today mistakenly believe that fighting the enemy is jihad asghar (a lesser jihad) and that fighting one’s ego is jihad akbar (a greater jihad). The following narration [athar] is quoted as proof: “We have returned from the lesser jihad to embark on the greater jihad.” They said: “What is the greater jihad?” He said: “The jihad of the heart, or the jihad against one’s ego.”
This narration is used by some to lessen the importance of fighting, to discourage any preparation for combat, and to deter any offering of jihad in Allah’s way. This narration is not a saheeh (sound) tradition. (source: see Jihad )
The cult of martyrdom – Al-Banna wrote:
My brothers! The ummah that knows how to die a noble and honourable death is granted an exalted life in this world and eternal felicity in the next. Degradation and dishonour are the results of the love of this world and the fear of death. Therefore prepare for jihad and be the lovers of death. Life itself shall come searching after you.
My brother, you should know that one day you will face death and this ominous event can only occur once. If you suffer on this occasion in the way of Allah, it will be to your benefit in this world and your reward in the next. (source: see Jihad )
The supremacy of Islam – “Islam must dominate and is not to be dominated.”
Restoration of the lost caliphate – i’adat al Khalifa al Mafqudah – is the chief immediate political goal of the Islamist movement.
The decadence and imminent demise of the west – “The civilization of the West, which was brilliant by virtue of its scientific perfection for a long time, and which subjugated the whole world with the products of this science to its states and nations, is now bankrupt and in decline. ”
Anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism – The Jews are the agents of change and westernization, and responsible for the decline of the west as well as Islam. This was not a new theme in the Muslim and Arab world.
Initially, the Muslim Brotherhood society seemed to be one among many small Islamic associations. These associations promoted personal piety and engaged in charitable activities. But the Muslim brotherhood was different. Al-Banna injected social content and economic messages into the Muslim brotherhood, making it into a channel for political discontent. Al-Banna’s big chance came during the Arab Revolt in Palestine, and the rise of the Axis powers. For Al-Banna and the Muslim Brotherhood, the Jewish presence in Palestine was another Westernizing colonialist influence that had to be stopped simply because it was Western.
In 1936, the Muslim Brotherhood had about 800 members around Cairo. By 1938, it boasted nearly 200,000 members, with fifty branches in Egypt alone, as well as numerous branches in Jordan and Palestine. The organization established mosques, schools, sport clubs, factories and a welfare service network. On the eve of World War II there were more than a half million active members registered in more than two thousand branches across the Arab world.
As noted, the purpose of the group was inherently subversive. Alongside the open layer of legitimate activities, the Brotherhood developed a network of underground cells (usar, singular usrah), They stole weapons, trained fighters, formed secret assassination squads, founded sleeper cells of supporters in the ranks of the army and police, and waited for the order to go public with terrorism, assassinations, and suicide missions.
Al Banna claimed to be a Salafi, but a Salafi group has published a detailed critique of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Banna: Historical Development of the Methodologies of the Ikhwan al Muslimeen and their effect on contemporary Salaafi Dawah. They maintain that Muhammad Abduh, Hassan al-Banna and Muhammad Rashid Rida created an activist movement that was falsely presented as Salafiyyah, but that al-Banna’s pretensions were purely a matter of political expediency.
    Al-Banna and Nazism
The growth of the Muslim Brotherhood was accompanied or caused in part by the fact that Al-Banna associated it with the German Nazi party and the Third Reich. From the ideological point of view, the Jew hatred, authoritarianism, addiction to violence and desire to defeat the British of both the Muslim Brothers and the Nazis were quite enough to make the two movements find common cause.
The Brotherhood’s political and military alliance with Nazi Germany blossomed into formal state visits, de facto ambassadors, and overt and covert joint ventures. The Muslim Brotherhood transformed Nazi anti-Semitism into a Muslim version, providing Arab translations of Mein Kampf (translated into Arabic as “My Jihad”) and other Nazi anti-Semitic works, including Der Sturmer hate-cartoons, adapted to portray the Jew as the demonic enemy of Allah rather than the German Volk.
When World War II broke out, al-Banna worked to firm up his alliances with Hitler and Mussolini. He sent them letters and emissaries, and urged them to assist him in his struggle against the British and the westernized regime of Egypt’s King Farouk. The Intelligence Service of the Muslim Brotherhood vigorously collected information on the heads of the regime in Cairo and on the movements of the British army, offering this and more to the Germans in return for closer relations.
    Al-Banna in Politics
Hassan al-Banna attempted to run for parliament in 1942, but was dissuaded from doing so. Side by side with the clandestine network, al-Banna built a grass roots propaganda apparatus and a highly structured mass movement. Like the Soviet Communist Party, the Muslim Brothers targeted specific groups in society. They had separate sections in charge of furthering the society’s values among peasants, workers, and professionals. Similar to the Soviet Comintern and Agitprop and the Nazi Ministry of Propaganda, Al-Banna also created units entrusted with specified functions such as propaganda, liaison with the Islamic world, and press and translation.
The Muslim Brotherhood organization became a model for later Islamist movements. In addition to Comintern style “sections,” Al-Banna relied heavily on pre-existing social networks, in particular those built around mosques, Islamic welfare associations, and neighborhood groups. Directly attached to the brotherhood, and feeding its expansion, were numerous businesses, clinics, and schools. This open layer of support was directly affiliated with the network of underground cells and helped to finance it. It formed both a recruiting ground and a mechanism for funneling money from charity into subversive activities.
    The denouement of Al-Banna
The underground cells of the Muslim Brotherhood began to carry out major acts of violence in the 1940s. The relaxation of military rule following the war made it easier to carry out these attacks. In a single week in 1946, four attacks, in which guns and explosives were used, were directed at British occupation forces, wounding 128 people. A group of Brotherhood figures were put on trial and found guilty by judge Ahmed El-Khazindar. Eight months later, the judge was assassinated by two Brotherhood members.
In 1947 and 1948 several Jewish-owned businesses in Cairo were bombed by the Brotherhood, which also sent volunteers to fight in the first Arab-Israel war. The volunteers were incorporated in the Egyptian attack plans. However, the Egyptian government also announced that a large cache of weapons had been discovered at the home of a Brotherhood member in Ismailia.
When it became evident that the war against Israel was an ignominious failure, agitation against the government and dissatisfaction increased, and the Muslim Brotherhood was prominent in leading it. On December 18, 1948, Prime Minister Mahmoud El-Noqrashi Pasha issued a military decree dissolving the group. Ostensibly, it had secretly plotted to overthrow the monarchy. Twenty days later, a young Brotherhood member assasinated Noqrashi Pasha inside the Interior Ministry building.
Al-Banna was quick to try to dissociate himself from the assassination, which was in fact, in keeping with the teachings of the brotherhood and Al-Banna. He declared that those who had carried out the assassination were “neither brothers nor Muslims”. The government was not convinced. Al-Banna was killed at the age of 43, apparently by government agents on February 12, 1949. Ami Isseroff

Hello, Assad, you have copied the same link I had linked in the article, but then you have copied other information without writing the link. Can you just write the link to the Hasan Al-Banna’s information in another comment?
      PS:
An advice: next time please, don’t copy the whole content of the link, just copy the link in the comment (and if you want a paragraph or two that you consider important). I think we all know how to click on the links to read what’s inside😉

  5. muslim says:

All these comments because Imam Yusef said we need a nuclear weapon.

Do you know that Russia and America had together the world 95% plutonium inventory (Russia 450 tonne, US 300 tonne, UK 7 tonne, France 14 tonne, china 5 tonne).

If you dont believe me then google it.

Why shall muslim not have 0.000001 of that inventory, or we are animals we dont deserve respect.

    • Claudia says:

I believe you about the tonns of plutonium. But I think your’re trying to kidding us all!.

Why shall muslim not have 0.000001 of that inventory, or we are animals we dont deserve respect.

Firstly, respect IS NOT EARNED by acquiring nuclear weapons. Respect is earned by having a behaviour that is worth of that respect, and I’m sorry to say, Muslim countries are very far from having my respect. Most of them are dictatorships and in a very important number they are “religious states”, that is, they actually apply religious laws to civil life. They discriminate non-Muslims and actually imprison people for being homosexuals or convert to other religion.
Secondly, I don’t see any of those countries using those weapons but in very unprobable circumstances. But I really see Ahmadinejad using them against Israel much more easily. You know, the Mahdi is coming! So bomb some Israelis.
Thirdly, I don’t see countries like Australia, Japan, Canada or Germany as being disrespected in foreign affairs, and to my knowledge they don’t have nuclear weapons.
Fourthly, I don’t see Pakistan (Muslim country, with nuclear weapons) as a more respected country that the aforementioned, but it is endangering international security if Al-Qaeda or the Taliban actually grab some of the nuclear bombs.
Fifth: note that the guy doesn’t say: “I want Muslims (not countries, but Muslims, so the Umma) to have nuclear weapons to defend themselves”, something which would be more reasonable. No, he wants it for me (and the rest of the Infidels) to be terrorised, so we bow to his backward positions and pressures.
And lastly, you aren’t a person but an animal, if your country doesn’t have nuclear weapons? Hahahaha, hello, my country doesn’t have nuclear weapons. Am I an animal in your eyes?😆 That’s stupid.

Al-Qaradawi: “Muslims should acquire nuclear weapons to terrorize their enemies”

This gravely deppresses me. Muslims must not have access to this dangerous weapons if they will not use them wisely. I’m so thankful that the US is not an islam country.

I just hope that Muslims will not gain access to this weapon.
